This is so good, Nijay. Thanks for writing!! Have you read Gregg Ten Elshof's I Told Me So? It's such an important and insightful read. Here's my blurb: https://open.substack.com/pub/inchristus/p/i-told-me-so

Thank you Dr. Gupta. I have just begun reading some of your work. And am beginning to appreciate what you have to say.

In my reading this week, I was in Mark 13. I found myself thinking of our current time, and Jesus words to His followers.

Three times in this teaching session with them he says, “See to it that no one misleads you”, and “Many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He!’ and they will mislead many”, and again, “for false christs and false prophets will arise, and will provide signs and wonders, in order to mislead, if possible, the elect.” Being mislead and allowing ourselves to be mislead was a concern of Jesus.

No one will directly come saying, “I am the Christ, I will deliver you”. Those individuals are easy to catch. Not a lot of discernment is needed. Very little chance of being mislead. But when the prophets of our day (think spiritual and political leaders who make bold claims) come to us in sheep’s clothing saying “peace, peace” then our discerning ears need to be on full alert.
