Love at the Heart of Paul's Theology
Today’s the day, folks! Woo-hoo! My book officially released today (Feb 20, 2025). This is a special book to me, because I hope it will be part of my academic legacy. There are a lot of great Pauline theology books out there (Dunn, Wright, Gorman), but I have come to believe that we must fix our minds, hearts, and hands on what transformed the persecutor-turned-apostle: the overwhelming love of Christ. We need Paul’s theology of love now more than ever, at the heart of our gospel and mission in the world. This book is a kind of sequel to Paul and the Language of Faith, but personally I think I finally found my sweet spot and rhythm in research and writing.
